Policy Review & Coverage Opinion

When a loss event occurs or you are uncertain what your policy covers, the first step is an accurate analysis of the policy terms. Our policy review examines the complete document — including definitions, conditions precedent, exclusions, and endorsements — and produces a clear written opinion on whether your loss event falls within the policy terms.

This service is well-suited to policyholders who have received a claim decision and wish to understand whether it is legally sound, brokers acting for clients in complex policy situations, and businesses assessing coverage before a loss occurs.

Claims Dispute Representation

From RM 2,200 · OFS resolution: ~2–6 months · Litigation: 12+ months

When a claim has been denied, settled for less than its value, or disputed by way of subrogation action, you need representation that understands both the policy terms and the procedural landscape. We provide counsel and direct representation across the full dispute pathway — from initial negotiation through to formal OFS complaint or court proceedings.

Before committing to any approach, we assess your claim strength and set out a realistic negotiation strategy. If the claim does not warrant formal dispute proceedings, we will advise accordingly rather than proceed for the sake of fees.

Insurance Programme Structuring

For mid-to-large enterprises and project sponsors, a well-constructed insurance programme is more than a list of policies — it is a managed approach to risk transfer. Our programme structuring advisory covers risk mapping, policy layering, deductible optimisation, and, where required, Shariah-compliant takaful structuring.

We work with your internal finance and operations teams to understand your actual risk exposures and produce a risk-transfer matrix and broker-instruction document that your appointed brokers can use directly. The result is coverage that is aligned with your business, not simply with what is readily available in the market.
