The Ombudsman for Financial Services (OFS) process typically runs two to six months depending on complexity and the insurer's responsiveness. Litigation takes considerably longer — often twelve months or more. We will give you a realistic picture of timelines during your initial consultation.

We work with both. Individual policyholders can engage us for policy reviews and claims disputes. Businesses — from SMEs to large project sponsors — typically approach us for programme structuring or complex multi-party claims. Each client receives the same level of care regardless of matter size.

A policy review covers the full policy document — including conditions precedent, exclusion clauses, and definitions — and produces a written coverage opinion letter alongside a plain-language summary of key clauses. Turnaround is one to two weeks from receipt of all documents.

Policy reviews are fixed-fee at RM 600. Claims dispute representation starts at RM 2,200, with the full scope agreed in writing before work begins. Corporate programme structuring is scoped individually from RM 4,600. We are transparent about costs from the outset so there are no unexpected charges.
